A friend of mine and I are endeavouring to compile a database of all the graves on stations in the Hughenden area. We have got the Flinders Shire Council interested as well, and they are helping. We would like to research the circumstances of the death of these people and if possible do some research on their life. If anyone can help with information, on where any of these graves are, or knows any stories about these graves we would be very grateful. So far we have about a dozen stations whose owners have indicated that there are graves on their property. We intend to take photos, and also note the position of the graves with a GPS if possible so that they are not lost. Quite a few interesting stories have emerged of murders and accidents, with no names and no dates, so it will be quite challenging. Looking forward to any comments. Anne Alloway and Roberta Morrison
