DEAN, Heather (nee Betty Heather Clarke) Late of Broadbeach for 50 years, formerly of Burnie (TAS), passed away peacefully at Glenwood Hostel Lowood, 17th January 2013. Aged 87 Years, 8 Months RAAF Aircraftwoman (Radio Operator) in WW2, after joining the Land Army as a teenager. Heather worked in Melbourne, Port Moresby and Darwin before settling at Surfers Paradise/Broadbeach in the 60's. She is survived by her immediate Family of daughter Margie, Grandson Timmothy, Great-granddaughter Alice and was pre-deceased by her ex- Husband Albert William Greaves (68) and Granddaughter Rayne Emily (29). Heather has been privately Cremated and arrangements for her Celebration of Life Memorial on the Gold Coast will be forthcoming.
