I just got to get a message to you hold on..... How did you ever get so jaded and life's mysteries so faded if only I could have made it all worthwhile, but you bought a ticket for a runaway train like a madman laughing at the rain, a little out of touch, a little insane but it was just easier than dealing with the pain. You don't know what it's like to love somebody, to love somebody the way I love you. This world had lost its glory and you could not start a new story, but don't let the sun go down on you. I tried to shelter you from harm and I would give anything I own to have you back again, everything I own, my heart, my home, just to have you back and touch you again. Looking back on the memories we shared, you sailed your vessel, with everyday a constant battle just to stay between the shores, and I'm glad I didn't know that the River's would run dry. Holding you, on that day, I held everything, for that time you were the King but if I'd only know how the King would fall and how would I have ever known you would say goodbye or how it would all end.
