    3. Robert Not a stupid question - a very good one in fact. Only about 180,000 of about 400,000 files are presently specifically indexed on the system. I suspect what happened is that they started indexing from the beginning of the alphabet, and only got up to somewhere in the letter G before they ran out of time/money. They also appear to have done some of the very common names (like Smith) for which they would receive many requests. They also appear to add others as they receive requests for them. They are still adding names as the total number of files in the series keeps increasing from time to time. The file for your Mr O almost certainly exists - but you would have to contact the archives (and pay for it) to get the information.
