Can anyone help me to ascertain information in relation to my father Arthur Russell Watson. He served with the Australian Air Force around 1951 - to 1960? My mother and I went to the Solomons with him around 1953 and were based on or near Manus Is. I do not have contact with Arthur and he would be 73 now. What was the RAAF unit called? and what was the purpose of family based personel in the Solomons.
