I am seeking more information about my distant relative Henry Grayson COOK, who served in the AIF and returned home to SA with a wife. My questions are as follows. Q1:- Does anyone else have ancestors that served in the 3rd Field Ambulance, and may have pictures/letters that mention my H.G. Cook. Has anyone made a study of the 3rd? Q2:- Does anyone have access to the passenger list for the S.S Hororata's voyage from Liverpool 16th April 1920 to final destination Sydney, June 1920? We are not sure of H.G. COOK's wifes name, family memory is that it was Lily G ??? but we are not sure. Q3:- The family in the UK lost contact with the this branch by the mid 1920's, so we have not idea what happened to them. They may have moved from SA, but are unlikely to have returned to UK. Below is all we know about them, I have obtained a copy of his official file, which raises more questions that it answers!
