    3. Hi Everyone On Friday morning I head off for a pilgrimage to North Borneo and come back on Wednesday 30th April. I stay in Kuching for a few days then fly to Kota Kinabula (formerly Jesselton) where we have an Official Dedication Ceremony. Then by ferry to Labuan Island where we attend the Peace Park and Dedication at War Cemetery. Most of the 2500 Aussie and British POW's who died at North Borneo are now buried on the island although many do not have individual graves and have a special memorial with all their names recorded. We fly back to KK then another flight from KK to Sandakan (in Sabah) for a four day stay which includes an official city welcome, visit to Barhala Island, city tours, tour of POW campsites, Memorial Park, tour of Sepilok and a Dawn Service at the POW Camp on Anzac Day. After leaving Sandakan we travel overland to Ranau and enroute visit the areas of the Death March with dedications. We arrive at Kundasung (about 10,000 feet) and stay there two days. We view Mt Kinabalu, Jungle Walk, Pot Poring Hot Springs (a swim), tour orchid gardens and visit Kundasung Memorial Site with dedication. Twelve Days of real adventure in natural jungle with our theme to also honour our fallen POW soldiers from WW2. We will be taking many photos and am doing so for anyone who has a request for a particular location, memorial or grave site. I have a digital camera and it is no problem to take a photo for anyone with a specific interest. Regards.....Allan
