Thank you George, yes, that is definitely my Michael PHELAN. Michael Patrick PHELAN was born in 1879 and his father`s name was John, and they were a Werribee family. Sadly, Michael Patrick`s son, Michael John PHELAN died at the hands of the Japs at Sandakan in 1945, he was 36 years old. George, thanks for what you have sent, it adds a little more to what I already know about Michael Patrick. I actually have a photo of him in his Boer War uniform which I find marvellous.
