Hi There Listers, I am after some help with Gentlemen, who served in the middle East during second world war, I have two photo albums passed down to me from my grandfather, who had been given them during the war, One of them titled TO ANYBODY WHO WANTS THEM FROM JOHNY Egypt AIF 1941, The other TO ANYBODY WHO WANTS THEM FROM JOHNY Egypt 2nd AIF 1941, Inside there is the emblem of the AIF and in the corners 2/1- 2/2, 2/3 and the 16th bgd My grand father servered with both the 1st AIF and the 16th Battalion. And I do know that he was injured as my father also served in the middle east and still, tells me how he felt like it was him that had been shot. Most of the photos of people were Stan - that is my grandfather, Jack King, who was Philipino, William Blinkhorn,(from what I can gather Both Jack King and William Blinkhorn were from Queensland) Squissy, Doug, - An AIF Hospital and lables of Sister Night, Sister Elsworthy and sister couch but pictures missing. If anyone can help me with any information on any of these people or where I can find it, it would be much appreciated, thanks all Liz
