A book called "Anzac Jack" is good reading for people researching the Gallipoli era and later. (The principal character is a New Zealander in the Australian Army (AIF). He was awarded the DCM. He was a "dawn-lander" at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915 Until now it was available for sale and who can afford to buy all the books. Now it is FREE as an E-book. Go to the site to download it. Just prior to Anzac Day this April, the family of Anzac Jack sent a complimentary copy of the book to every College and High School in New Zealand. This was done with the blessing of the CEO of the New Zealand Ministry of Education. We were overwhelmed with the response from the school Principals and their Librarians. Apparently the staff and the pupils made full use of the book while preparing speeches and projects for the forthcoming Anzac Day and it could not have come at a more opportune time for them. As a result of this the family of Anzac Jack decided to offer "Anzac Jack" as an E book on our website in order that schools and their pupils could have convenient access to it at all times at no cost and by way of a medium with which they are familiar.
