    3. Margaret 151 AGT Co was 151 Australian General Transport Company, a trucking unit of the Aust Army Service Corps. They were formed at Mt Martha in Victoria in August 1942 under command of Second Aust Army before moving to Murgon in Qld in March 1943 under command of 3 Aust Armoured Division. they then moved to Buna, NG in July 1943 and were one of the first transport units into Lae, NG in October 1943. They stayed at Lae until the end of the war. This is a summary of the database printout for this unit and if you are interested you could get a copy of the full listing of the unit's location at the end of each month during the war. This is available from Grimwade Publications at [email protected] for the modest cost of $10 per unit.
