So here goes with the request once more. I am trying to find out about: Florence Violet CREE b.19 may 1896, Brynlinalt Lodge, Chirk, N Wales, UK who died at YHOR (Yarra Home of Rest ??????) on the 8 Oct 1985 aged 89. She married Charles WF CREE at Chirk Parish Church, N Wales on 5 April 1920 They emigrated to Victoria soon after (date not known) they lived at 2 Wimbledon Grove, Eaglemont, N22, Victoria, Australia. They could not have children so adopted a daughter (name unknown) who due to mental illness had to be placed into a home. Florence left a will which was granted 24 January 1986. What am I after? What happened to Charles WF CREE, what did he do? What did they do? Who was the daughter? Which home did she go in? Is she still living? Where can a copy of the will be sought as that would answer many questions. When did they arrive and what ship? Hello Graham I've checked Sands & McDougall Post Office directory for 1929. Eaglemont wasn't a separate place then, so no listings for Wimbledon Grove. However in Heidelberg (also N22), Wimbledon Grove appears with only one house in it, so I'd suggest this was when the subdivision occurred. Graham I was able to find the reference for the will but Ballarat only have the earlier wills on film, the others are available at North Melbourne. Was not able to find a death for Charles, who died before her as it does say she was a widow, also do you know where she was buried as often the cemetery will have a list of all buried at that site. Not sure when I will be in N Melbourne next but happy to check this will when I do.
