    3. I need help with JORD, not in Vic place names, and if ASHW would be Ashwood and if so where is it? Got the Ashwood from the Postcode book but can't find it on my map. I will be very pleased if they are close to each other. Thanks Lynne SA

    3. Jord - Jordanville I think, not far from Ashwood. There is a Jordanville station on the Glen Waverley train line but not I think any longer a suburb called that. Once it was a lot of housing commision homes mostly post war. Ashwood is not far away.. If you think of it as a combination of the suburbs named Ashburton and Burwood, you have it - the area is defined by those suburbs too. Don't know what your map is, but both eastern to slightly south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Not far out really, perhaps 8 - 10 miles. Someone who lives there might be better able to advise distance than me.
