    3. Hello Queens Parade is a very long road. You may need to be specific in what suburb of Queens Road it is on. It is located closed to the actual city of Melbourne, running through several suburbs. I drove past 170 Queens Parade in Clifton Hill. If this is what you are looking for then this location is sitauted on a corner, it is an electrical store.. but it looks like it may have once been a pub or a hotel. 3. Hi all I have been away for the last 10 days so forgive me for intruding at the end of this conversation, but the subject line reads Recreation Hotel which intrigued me and I cannot find the original thread of this message. I was bought up at the Recreation Hotel which was later named the Moomba Hotel and now has been relegated to a Backpackers Hostel, but my pub was on the corner of Spencer & Hawke Sts in West Melbourne is this the pub you are looking for?? 3. Darlene Thanks for your reply but the one I was looking for was in Fitzroy. The address was 170 Queens pde and it was built by my ancestor sometime in the 1800s. It was the Recreation Hotel when he died in 1902 and I was wondering if the building was still there, it is around Cecil or Grant street as he owned a number of buildings and land there.
