Can anyone help me with a birthplace/birthdate date for Florence Sarah Murray? I think she was born in Melbourne around 1867 and I'm keen to find out more about her and her family, especially her father. Hi Shelley I have had a quick look at the Victorian BDM's for your Florence, but with no luck, so I searched for Leah and still no luck. There was a Florence Murray b in 1867 cert # 13637 at The Lodden (Castlemaine area) but with different parents from what you stated below. Are you sure she was born in Victoria?? I will keep looking for different variations and let you know if I find anything - do you have her father's name by any chance?? Caroline must have remarried a man called MURRAY before Florence Sarah married as she was a MURRAY when she married my great-great-grandfather in 1886. I'd LOVE any more details you can send.
