Hi Marina............i noticed your WORSLEY family and wondered if they may be connected to mine somehow....my Mum's maiden name was WORSLEY and they lived in Dandenong (I still live close by)........i don't recognise the names of your family but thought it was worth asking. About your family....would William Worsley have been buried at Dandenong cemetery? (Born aboard the ship "Adelaide") Parish St James, Melbourne, EVE WORSLEY, died 1850, aged 1 year at Collingwood. Parish St Peters, Melbourne. ADAM WORSLEY, died 1852, aged 4 months , at Collingwood. Parish St Marks, Collingwood. WILLIAM WORSLEY, died at Dandenong, 1885, age stated was 82. The father of the above. Born Gloucestershire, England. SARAH WORSLEY, died 1st April, 1866. Wife of William, above. Born Gloucestershire, England. Interred in the Melbourne Cemetery, 4th April, 1866 - would love a record if possible. Doubt if there will be any headstones. Know about the Victoria market site where graves were dug up and transferred. Any help with this much appreciated. Thank you. Yes, the thought occurred that William Worsley may have been interred at Dandenong, and this is one area I will look into of course. Will contact you off the list.
