Hello Could some kind person who has the indexes look up a birth for me please for Margaret Russell born c1866 in Victoria Parents James Russell and Mary McGrath. Even if you could look up a marriage for the parents if they were married in Victoria. Edward Healey was a confectioner. I have a problem here: My great grandfathers twin sister Margaret Russell married Edward Healey on October 7th 1886 in Victoria. My Margaret Russell is the daughter of James Russell and Mary Ann O'Grady and she was born at Beechworth in 1867. However this marriage certificate shows the parents of Margaret Russell who married Edward Healey to be James Russell and Mary McGrath. Maybe there is a mistake on the marriage certificate? Any help would be appreciated Ernene Smedley

Here's the marriage of James and Mary - note her name is given as Grady, not O'Grady. Nothing for James Russell to a Mary McGrath. James didn't marry an Ann surname anything like McGrath or O'Grady Digger - Pioneer Index.
