USA Hi Karan, Little or nothing would be the answer, and even if he had to show anything, no copies would have been kept. If he married in a church he may have been required to show proof of a baptism, but it wouldn't have been copied. I married in 1984, and I recall showing various documents to prove my identity amd marital status, but I don't recall giving copies, or copies being taken, so in 1912 even less of a chance, given no photocopiers. However, we are cunning little researchers over here, and if you would care to give full details, it wouldn't suprise me if someone could come up with some leads. Just say what has already been checked, and if you have any documents at all - give the full details, starting at the heading on the form, all dates, places, witnesses. Best wishes, Lenore Frost Essendon, Vic
