Hi everyone, First of all a very big thankyou to everyone for your help re Vic BDM's. I rang them and sorted out where I went wrong. I am curious though for if I purchase online and I am paying for a copy of the marriage what would I be getting from the index image. What is an index image. Hoping someone can help. Kind regards Leanne Baulch Canberra
Hi Leanne The image you download is identical to the cert you get sent to you as a piece of paper - but the piece of paper has "certified true copy" stamped on it and is on special paper that shows it is not a photo copy. If you downlaod it you get an electronic copy, pdf file, and can print it if you wish or save it or.. I THINK what you call an index image is the electronic pdf file. The index has the image attached for each entry - which of course you can onoly see when you have paid and selected that option.
