    3. I believe in the 19th Century, several vessels were used as prison hulks in Port Phillip. At various times, these were the "Sacramento", "Success", "President", and possibly others. Their younger brother was also sentenced in 1875 to an institution, described as "Nelson" - could this be the name of a hulk moored somewhere? Older brother's clothes were "thrown overboard" leading me to believe they too were on a hulk or some sort of prison ship. Any ideas anyone? Any suggested reading?
