If there is a metal fence then I would take it that it is a private burial as the others state that there is no marker. This would indicate that she was at least known by the family, unless as Beryl says it was a mistake and she should be next door. Hi, With respect to you all. At this stage it's all a guessing game, why not wait till Monday when I can find out from the cemetery all the details on the burial. Yes true she could be from next door, but she could also be an in-law as well? Or just the little poor old lady the family knew and sooner than see her put into a paupers grave the family gave space from this person to rest in eternal piece! But it's just my 2c worth on the matter. Ray. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carmel M Reynen" <fcfibre1@bigpond.com> To: <AUS-MELBOURNE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, January 21, 2006 2:51 PM Subject: Re: [AUS-MELB] A mysterious burial - collateral attack > If there is a metal fence then I would take it that it is a private burial > as the others state that there is no marker.
