    3. Hello folks, I thought it time to once again draw researchers' attention to a terrific set of databases on the Royal Historical Society of Victoria website. http://www.historyvictoria.org.au/index.htm See the link to "Local History Online" Catalogues * RHSV Catalogue (HistoryVictoria Database) The manuscript, book, photograph, map, etc, collections are available through the online catalogue. Check your names, places and events. * Other RHSV databases The only one available at the moment is the index to the Victorian Historical Journal, 1911 - 2005 - 94 years of articles about Victorian history. * Victorian Local History Database This comprises a combined database of collections of societies affiliated with the RHSV - in its infancy, with only seven society collections represented, but worthwhile nevertheless and growing all the time. * Other online local history databases Links to local history collections of Victorian libraries, and also the 1891 Victorian Women's Suffrage Petition. Have a good holiday browse! Best wishes, Lenore Frost Essendon, Vic
