I want to say a very big 'thank you' to all the listers for the wonderful responses I got re my mysterious burial. I now know that Mary Burdett's parents are unknown and the only way to find them out is to get her death cert, but I am reluctant to do that just now...if I knew she was really related I would get it. Thanks must especially go to Carmel for the terminology for the different types of burials. I was about to email the Melb Cem to ask just that, but now I believe that as there is a high metal fence around the plot it must be a private grave... so Mary Burdett must have been related or at least known to the Jackson family somehow! Thanks also to Raymond for his offer to check the burial details of this family at the Cemetery. I have been astounded by the amount of responses and the various suggestions offered...this list is tops! Ever grateful, Robyn.
