Am hoping for more info re the above man. He was a widower with 10 children when he married my ggrandmother (also widowed) in 1883 in St.Andrew's Manse Bendigo. Other info on the cert states that he was widowed in 1878 and that his birthplace was Cornwall England. He was an engineer aged 52 and parents were James Mitchell and Mary Hallet. wish to know who his first wife was and if married in vic and who were the ten children. I haven't been able to find his death as yet, but curiously, when his new wife died in 1902 she was buried in the same grave as her first husband. Hoping for some enlightenment. regards Evelyn
