I understand that there is a memorial on the corner of Queen Street and Therry Street in Melbourne to the 9000 persons still buried under the Queen Victoria Market site - Old Melbourne Cemetery. Is this correct? If so, is there some kind person, who may be visiting the site, who could take a photograph of this memorial for me please. Have also read about a memorial "Passage" to these 9000 persons, at the Market. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks. Regards, Marina New Zealand
Wouldn't know but if anyone dose know I'd also be interested in knowing about it and also a copy of the photo as well please it would be good to have on the Australia Cemetery web page!
