    3. There is a place up somewhere in the Daylesford Creswich region which has a name something like Bampied - not sure if it is that or Blampied or similar. Blac = Blackburn??? I have the brotherof my gg grandfather marrying a second time to a lass from Blackburtn in the 1880s from memory - if not, then the later 1870s. I hope this helps but am not at all sure it does!
