I am interested in a family who settled in Melbourne 1841ish. from the info I have it appears that Goretta Williams and her mother came to Melbourne at this time. Goretta m Peter Carron in 1843 and they had about 4 children. I am not sure what has happened to Peter but it appears Goretta remarried around 1852 two years after her last child was born. Goretta's mother Mary Ann was born in Ireland c1779 and was buried with her granddaughter in Melbourne in 1882 aged 103 years. Anyone researching this family I would love to hear from.
