Dear listers, I'm looking for contact with researchers of John Edward DAVIES ( b? - d?) & Eliza Witt WINGFIELD (b cir 1850 - d 1908 Richmond, Vic). They had a child named Edward Arthur who died in Richmond, Vic in 1889 aged 7 yrs. Was he born in SA? Other children born Richmond, Vic in 1890s. Have a hunch the family came to Vic in search of work while Melbourne was still booming but SA was in the grips of depression as John gave his occupation as a painter in 1892. Jenny
