Hi List, I have a relation who was admitted as an inmate to a mental facility in the Melbourne area but I can't identify it. The name on the record was the KDK or RDR "R" Cog Home in 26/2/1942. He was living at 62 Oxford St. Newport. Any help is appreciated. He was in WWII. Jim Duggan
Hi Jim, I'd say it could be Kew Mental Asylum, over on Yarra bend and it's right on the boundary there between Kew and Fairfield, now how been changed into luxury Apartments with solid brick walls almost 2 foot deep Regards, Ray. ----- Original Message ----- From: "J & S Duggan" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, August 13, 2008 6:42 AM Subject: [AUS-MELBOURNE] Location of an insane asylum or mental facility inMelbourne area > Hi List, > > > > I have a relation who was admitted as an inmate to a mental facility in > the > Melbourne area but I can't identify it.
