Hello Chris, In VPRS 259/p01 Supreme Court Equity Case Files Unit 104 case 1088 I found a scrap.. the actual case files are missing (best to call up the unit and go through the numbered case files to find this scrap between 1087 and 1089... it may be that the storeroom staff might find difficulty in locating it as "a file") The gist of it was, according to my notes: Isaac Henry Dark (infant) versus Edwin and Ann Alice Dark... young Isaac seeks to make his uncle(?) now husband of his mother (?) mortgage the real estate ( deceased father was in partnership in land with his brother Edwin?) in order to obtain money for his education and advancement in life . Year 1868. In those days young Isaac would have been heir-at-law to his father's estate. The parts in parenthesis are from memory, of reading about 20 years years ago, and could be flawed!
