Their was also another one known as The Queen Elizabeth Home for Un-Married Mothers short term was know as Carlton home, I noticed just the other night that the whole block has been demolished it used to be right near the big round-a-bout at the top end near the Melbourne Uni and also the Melbourne General Cemetery My Father worked their back in the 1950's For H.T. McKern & Sons the builders.
