Hi Margaret, Back then it could have been the Old Melbourne which is now knows as Flagstaff Gardens of what is now Queen Victoria Markets, so if this is the case he could have been moved to Falkner or the new Melbourne General Cemetery. Just for interest there have been three Melbourne General Cemeteries. 1. Located at the current Queen Victoria Market site, generally held to gave commenced in 1837 2.
