Hello folks, I am seeking information on a particulr ship. I've Googled searched the ship's name but only get a whole lot of references to some children's books. I've also looked at LLoyds shipping register and several shipping and immigration sites on the I/net but got no result. Perhaps someone on the list has heard of it. It was a Chinese ship called the "WEE SING". My g/grandfather AH CUE (1843-1902) was born in Canton, China and according to his Naturalisation papers of 1873 - " that on or about 20th January 1862 he arrived in the Colony of Victoria, by the ship Wee Sing, from the port of Hong Kong in China". (Ah Cue was a market gardener and settled in Wangaratta, Victoria, where he spent the rest of his life). If anyone knows of this ship of knows how to research Chinese ships I would appreciate for their help. Cheers, Barry Howard, Victoria, Australia
