HI Hoping some can point me in the right direction. I am doing some research for a friend and attempting to trace his mothers family. I know his mother was Jean Dorothy Hobbs-Poore born in Melbourne on 14 March 1920. She also 3 brothers and sisters. John Munro (also known as John Hobbs and John Hobbs-Poore) Tom Hobbs Kathleen Hobbs. I haven't been able to find parents for any of the above including Jean. I am a bit stuck as the Victoria BDM's only goes to 1907 for historical research and there seems to be quite a bit of rigmarole to get the full certificate for Jean, I will happily pay but not sure how I can get DOB's and parents for the other 3 children.
