Hello all, I am wondering if anyone has any knowledge or has ever done any research on the family that owned the A. Winter General Store that was somewhere between Tongio West and Cassilis near Omeo, Victoria. The period I am looking at is circa 1903 - circa 1924. In particular I am seeking information about the Winter family that owned the store, James and Alice Winter and daughter Mary Alice Winter. To my knowledge they also had a son, Edward Arthur Winter who was killed in action in World War One. There was also a George Winter and Jean Isabella Winter living there c. 1909, but I have no knowledge of who this is. Thank you to anyone who would like to share information.
