Checking the 1924 electoral roll you will see that they both reside at: Johannah Whitty, 139 Ramsden Street, Clifton Hill, Home Duties Thomas Whitty, 139 Ramsden Street, Clifton Hill, Platelayer. No other Whittys reside in the area. In 1919 they also resided at the same house. Only difference was that Thomas' occupation was given as Driver. Hope the above is of some interest.
