    1. Re: [AUS-MELBOURNE] Burial location re Howards
    2. B.Howard
    3. Hello Jessie, Sorry, but as far as I can tell there is no connection with my Howards. In my direct ancestry I have only one English surname - DELLER from Hertford. My Howards were all Irish, God bless 'em. John HOWARD of King's County (now Offaly) and Catherine NEIL, of County Carlow migrated to Port Phillip in 1841 and owned a property in Little Collins Street near Elizabeth Street. (I wish it was still in the family!). John died in 1853 and his wife and family sold up and moved to Victoria Street East at Richmond where she ran a general store, she died in 1866. All of their descendants remained in and around Melbourne and I have found no connection with the Howards of Bendigo/Ballarat area, or with the Howards in Sale, Gippsland. The only adopted children in my tree were those CUE children who were my mother's ancestors. Thank you for writing.I appreciate very much your interest in my query, Regards, Barry Howard. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jessie Dee" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, July 07, 2008 8:04 AM Subject: Re: [AUS-MELBOURNE] Burial location > Hi I have a friend adopted out a HOWARD lots in Ballarat & Bendigo > related any of your their Roy was born in Carnegie put in foster > home > nothing at all after that says on mother certificate born Birmingham but I > actually found her in Ballarat buried in Bendigo so you cant go on > certificates some times My husband died in London 18 months ago so > not registered here we were on holidays so yours could be any where > Good > Luck Jessie Any connection in your HOWARD name > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "B.Howard" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Sunday, July 06, 2008 7:04 PM > Subject: Re: [AUS-MELBOURNE] Burial location
