    3. Hi all, I have just been looking at Electoral rolls and notice my Jane Boyd Walker Patrick and John Walker PATRICK are listed as being in the area of Corio in 1924 - 1937. Would Altona have come into that boundary at that time? I was hoping for an address to try and find where Jane died in 1932, number of the property that is, as I have her death cert but it's just got 'The Esplanade ,Altona and I would so like to find which number it was. John would have been there until his death in 1938. He was her son, never married. Any help gratefully appreciated Thanks Chris

    3. Hi Do you know who Jane Boyd Walker Patrick's parents were and where she was born? 3. Hello Chris, Corio (Geelong) is a good hours drive in a modern car from Altona, The only connection is that both are (theoretically) on the coast of Port Phillip Bay, Victoria. There would be less than a handful of houses with an address "Esplanade, Altona" in 1932, so wouldn't expect there to be "a house number". Altona was barely settled, then. 3. Hi Chris, Possibly the words 'The Esplanade' Altona, were actually the name of the house/property at Altona, at that time...? Perhaps there are records of house names recorded in Council archives........?
