Hello List, I have just found the following webpage that might be of use to those with questions about the compatibility of Windows 7 with their genealogy cds. http://www.gouldgenealogy.com/2010/03/genealogydata-cds-and-windows-7/ The link will take you to a commercial website which gives a list of genealogy cds that can or cannot be used in Windows 7. I would like to make it clear however, that I am not connected with this company in any way and am not posting this as a form of advertisement for them. Regards, Barry Howard, Vic. Aust.
Hi Barry & List Thank you for posting the link, its a very good list of what works and what doesn't with window 7,we needed a new computer about 2 months ago,I had been informed about the diggers cd may not work on window 7,so I had my old windows xp put on the new one,so glad I did, when you pay out around $200 a cd (I have all the Vic & SA diggers cd),only to find out they may not work in the future its a lot of money going down the drain. http://www.gouldgenealogy.com/2010/03/genealogydata-cds-and-windows-7/ Julie > Hello List, > > I have just found the following webpage that might be of use to those > with questions about the compatibility of Windows 7 with their genealogy > cds. > > http://www.gouldgenealogy.com/2010/03/genealogydata-cds-and-windows-7/ > > The link will take you to a commercial website which gives a list of > genealogy cds that can or cannot be used in Windows 7.
