I have not had any success with the site all day I did ask is it because I changed emails. Surely it recognises the server not the email. I phoned Ancestry for help but I came away even more unhappy. I haven't looged put sincel ast Monday as I was using the old email, but not long after that we changed, but not the server. Need the server for Internet etc Elaine On Fri, Mar 5, 2010 at 1:22 PM, J & R Gay <jrgay@iprimus.com.au> wrote: > I can get in but I was already logged in from last time I used it. > Jenni > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Elaine Jefferson" <elainej100@gmail.com> > To: <AUS-MELBOURNE@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Friday, March 05, 2010 12:39 PM > Subject: [AUS-MELBOURNE] Ancestry.com > > > > My query is I have been tryingto log into Ancesty for most of this > > morning(friday) with out success. > > one.. is it because I have changed emails or is the site down for some > > reason. > > Thanks > > Elaine in Melbourne > > > > ------------------------------- > > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > > AUS-MELBOURNE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without > the > > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > AUS-MELBOURNE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message >
Elaine .. I don't thing it recognizes just the server luv.. if it did then anyone could get on there .. it has to be the email you have set it up for .. just log in to ancestry with the old email and try and change it in there . Maree
Maree it took all day with the help of our server and he too couldn't help. What we did in the end was to turn off the PC and disconnect the modem for an hour or so and restarted the entire system once again, The dammed thing worked from there on. Server thingkst here was some sort of glich in the system not letting me in to Ancestry. I was getting more & more fed up, and thanks for your thoughts. Computers can be an actual pain in the neck., but where would we be with out them today Elaine On Fri, Mar 5, 2010 at 2:01 PM, Maree <maree@iseekin.com.au> wrote: > Elaine .. > I don't thing it
Elaine I think there was something going on with Ancestry this week, a couple of times I could not get on and it kept telling me I needed to subscribe while my account was telling me I had a subscription. All was fine when I came in the next day. carmel -----Original Message----- From: aus-melbourne-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-melbourne-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Elaine Jefferson Sent: Saturday, 6 March, 2010 12:50 AM To: aus-melbourne@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [AUS-MELBOURNE] Ancestry.com Maree it took all day with the help of our server and he too couldn't help.
