Hi Anne In FamilySearch I found a David Whitton had married a Janet Nisbet on 18 April 1854, in Dundee, Angus, Scotland. It is an Extracted Marriage Record. The date fits in the the arrival of David and Janet Whitton on the Ocean Chief in August 1854.
