Dennis, Unfortunately births are not able to be looked up so easily. The Great War index only goes to 1920 and is not really available anymore, 1913 is the cut off date at this time. Thanks for that Carmel, I will have to keep that in mind. Can I ask another then please, a marriage this time the bride became a Smith and her Christian name was Hilda, if you can unscramble this, it would be helpful. Dennis
Hi Dennis, I've been told by the Registry that the 100 year rule applies now, so no births available after 1911, I guess. I cannot see a 'bernard gladstone smith' in the deaths, which go up to 1985 but he could be there as a straight 'bernard smith' or he died after 1985.
