Hi Listers I wonder whether anyone can help? My Great uncle Edward Maxwell, born1827 in East Ham Essex, came to Australia about 1852 on the Holyrood, I believe, his wife Margaret Jane Maxwell (Married in UK) arrived later. They had two kids in Australia, Anne Maxwell in June 1855 in North Melbourne and Emma in June 1857 in East Melbourne. Edward Maxwell died 6 Feb 1861 in a Melbourne hospital having fallen from his horse a week earlier. A letter indicates that his wife Margaret Jane Maxwell could have been pregnant when her husband died. What I am looking for is any info on what happened to Margaret Jane Maxwell, Anne Maxwell and Emma Maxwell after 1861. Any help would be appreciated. Regards to all Tony Maxwell
