They had two kids in Australia, Anne Maxwell in June 1855 in North Melbourne and Emma in June 1857 in East Melbourne. Edward Maxwell died 6 Feb 1861 in a Melbourne hospital having fallen from his horse a week earlier. A letter indicates that his wife Margaret Jane Maxwell could have been pregnant when her husband died. What I am looking for is any info on what happened to Margaret Jane Maxwell, Anne Maxwell and Emma Maxwell after 1861. Any help would be appreciated.
