Hi List can anyone suggest a reason why a couple living in Flinders (west) street Melbourne. Thomas and Janet Kay AULD nee Ferguson had 5 children born and noted in The Argus but no registration has come to light under various spellings. The 6th child b 1878 d 1879 is registered. Two more born not registered but children 9 and10 are registered. So btw 1872 to 1878 was there a problem registering? I thought non registering was fined. Any help or suggestions appreciated. regards Jan
