The letter sent out by the then Premier of Victoria was headed: "Victoria is celebrating its 150th Birthday" But: as mentioned previously; the letter was not dated to give a clue as to when sent out and I guessed it had been before & 1989, as the family member concerned; died 1989. The Medallion in question was produced for the above mentioned event and sent to it's recipients together with a Certificate. So I now believe the event would have taken place in 1985? When exactly was Victoria's Birthday, as the letter sent out by Premier John CAIN, is not dated. I am most curious to find what proof was needed by the Premier as to a person's age, before presenting them with the Medallion?
