Hello all Is there a kind soul willing to do lookups and receive my very grateful thank you in advance for their generosity. I am interested to know the BDMs for BROMWICH. I can't be more specific as I don't know who - if anyone - came to Aus. I'll only be able to look at names and say hmmmmm until I can link them up. Joy
To all those who have contacted me please accept my belated thankyou and I will be contacting you all just as soon as my ISP provider gets its act together thankyou all I will return Cara

Doug Do you have Mary's maiden name. If there was a first husband she would have remarried under her married name. Her father's name should be on the certificate if you have it. I'd like to ask if anyone has this couple amongst the branches in their tree as having trouble trying to locate them. Donald Allan John Harte b1902 Carlton, Vic. Married a Karhleen Marguerite Oldaker b 1906 Ballarat, Vic. (married 14 December 1935 Carlton, Vic) I have now managed to get a lot of info from Victorian B.D.M's on families of this couple, so now I'm trying to locate where they died and are buried, or any family members. Is it his death or his child's death. sometimes children are not sure of grandparent's names particularly if they did not know the grandparent well so wrong info is given. the other thing is, maybe he was Richard Alexander Robert and was known as Robert. It depends on who gives the info. I am still p'ed at my aunt, when my grandmother died she argued that my grandmother married in 1928, I said 1927 but she argued the point saying it would have been their 60th wedding anniversary on the day they buried Nana. I went home and checked, she was married in 1927 and it was the date the week before the burial. and then when I thought about it my Uncle was born in 1928 so nana would have been a but annoyed as well. But then my aunt (whom I love dearly) also got her grandmother's name wrong when she put the plaque on her grave, she has her as Henrietta instead of Harriet. She is a genealogists nightmare. But glad I could help in some way, not sure on the sex change however, in Family Tree maker you just go back to where you entered them and change the if to m. Many thanks once again Carmel you're right they are mine and while entering them into my PAF 5 I have discovered that I have accidentally changed /incorrectly entered George as a female. Now I need to figure out how to change his sex since you found him a wife. Thank you heaps Col
