    1. [AUS-MELBOURNE] (De) Peorrei, Thomas Louis and Matis, Renee
    2. Laine Clancy
    3. Hi I am trying to assist a friend with some research on her husbands mothers family. Thomas Louis De Peorrei or Peorrei and Renee Matis had a child Jean Dorothy (De) Peorrei around 1920 trying to locate a birth record for that event and a marriage record between Thomas and Renee. THis may not be in Australia, I have the marraige certificate for Jean Dorothy Peorrei which states she was born in Melbourne Victoria. Also trying to locate a death record for Thomas who died between 1920 and 1942 place unknown but family was living in Victoria. Trying to find where they arrived from when they arrived in Victoria. I have Jean (De) Peorrei living at 25 Lennox Street, Yarraville when she married in 1942 possibly with her mother, I belive her mother remarried. Is anyone out there researching the families mentioned or could someone suggest where I can start to track down there arrival in Victoria/Australia. Are there searchable records for voting regisers/phone books for Victoria? Thanks Laine

    3. Hi Cara Wouldn't be surprised if this is your Thomas also . . . ages are about right and he lived in the same area as Johanna mentioned below: Thomas Whitty Father: Martin Whitty Mother: Cath Doyle Death Place: Clifton Hill Aged 75 Died 1932 Reg No. 1104. Checking the 1924 electoral roll you will see that they both reside at: Johannah Whitty, 139 Ramsden Street, Clifton Hill, Home Duties Thomas Whitty, 139 Ramsden Street, Clifton Hill, Platelayer. No other Whittys reside in the area. In 1919 they also resided at the same house. Only difference was that Thomas' occupation was given as Driver. Hope the above is of some interest.
