They have next of kin down as Rowland and Mary on the other, there is a Rowland Bone m Mary Mcdonald in 1824. But that does not solve the mystery! Sorry you would need to spend money on these ones unless someone else on the list knows of them. It looks like Rowland (father) died in 1961 aged 60 in Heidleburg. Son of William and Margaret Dickenson. You could try his death certificate which would be 17.50 on the BDM site, and you can download it. Reg no. 600 Carmel -----Original Message----- Hello Carmel. Thanks for your email. One is Rowland Alexander BONE born 1926 and the other is Rowland Alexander Bentley BONE born 1924, I am trying to find out the parents name and if they are brother's, to me their christian names seem odd being practically the same. I know that one didn't die thats why the names are practically the same, as they both enlisted in WW2. Regards. Perle.

    3. Hi Peggy, You wrote "...buried in Atherton or Blackwood Vic cemetery..." If your Alberta died in Yarram she could possibly be in the Yarram cemetery but I would suggest you find someone who can look up the burial register for the "Alberton Cemetery" as well. This cemetery is only a few km's from Yarram. Cheers, Barry Howard. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carmel M Reynen" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, July 11, 2008 9:59 PM Subject: Re: [AUS-MELBOURNE] Alberta Rosina Emmerson > Peggy > Have you got her death certificate, that should say where she is buried. > Try > the two cemeteries you mentioned and see what their records tell you. > Carmel > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Peggy Henson > Sent: Friday, 11 July, 2008 3:57 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [AUS-MELBOURNE] Alberta Rosina Emmerson > > Alberta was born May 31 1901 Launceston Tassie. 3. Peggy Alberta died in Yarram and would most likely be buried there. If you look on the cemetery list there is a contact for Yarram. I did not look at the date earlier and the story of her being buried on the farm cannot be right as a body had to buried in a cemetery. http://www.ozgenonline.com/aust_cemeteries/vic/vicsec3.htm#anchor1417 Her death registration is 10933, so may be worth your friend applying for the certificate. They are $17.50 and available at Vic bdm site. http://online.justice.vic.gov.au/bdm/index-search?action=purchaseImage My grandmother's sister died on the farm at Yan Yean about the same time. She is buried at the cemetery there but one day my ggrandfather went to the cemetery to see it had been vandalised and Patricia's headstone had been knocked over. My ggrandfather picked up the headstone and took it home standing it up under a tree. Years later my uncle was in the area and was talking to the owner of the farm and mentioned how it was once in our family. The farmer was interested and told my uncle how there was a little girl buried under the tree down back. It could possibly be still there.
