    2. LORI ADKINS
    3. Hello List, Would someone be kind enough to look up a passenger list for a ship coming from London in 1851 to Melbourne. I am looking for passengers Richard S and Henry S GARLICK. Richard was born in 1834 and Henry in 1832. I have looked on the PROV website but only see ships coming in from 1853 onwards. Thank you Kindest Regards Lori USA

    1. [AUS-MELBOURNE] Old Hospital Records
    2. LORI ADKINS
    3. Hello List, I have found 2 of my ancestors who were brothers, Richard and Henry Garlick who were living and workers as miners in Bendigo and found them through the Bendigo Hospital Admissions. These 2 brothers that I found in Bendigo had another brother William who was a Solicitor who had his own business and lived at St Kilda. I was wondering if there are any records for the hospital in St Kilda for William S Garlick he lived in St Kilda from 1853 to 1870. William Lawson Shuckburgh Garlick was born in London in 1827 and came to Victoria in 1853 his brothers arrived in 1851. William left Victoria and moved back to London in 1870 after his wife left him. Thank you Kindest Regards Lori Colorado USA

Kew cottages and Janefield were in Bundoora just off Plenty Road, it has now been changed to a retirement village with shopping centre etc. I know this as my aunt lives on Janefield drive in one of the units there. Just a brief off-topic comment to Collin........being a true ex-patriot "Mexican" and sometime "Novacastrian", now in Oklahoma, USA, I can imagine how confused an ex Sandgropper now a Bananabender could be in trying to work out the geographics of Victorian place names..... 3. Thanks Eric, I've no idea where any of these places are relative to anywhere. I just threw that bit in 'cos it is in my most recent research. It seems that all my ancestors back to the first arrivals in Australia landed in Melbourne 1854 appear to have radiated out. As I am an expatriate Sandgroper now Banana bender, your area is not too familiar to me. Allabest Col
